Lisa Kerrigan, MSPT
Practicing since 1994, Lisa brings years of experience providing high quality physical therapy services to her patients. Over this period she has spent time in numerous settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes. This has provided her with the opportunity to witness first hand the shortcomings present in many clinic settings. Furthermore, her experience offers a unique insight on how to ‘right the wrongs’. Her clinical background while diverse is grounded in orthopaedic and sports medicine evaluation and treatment. She has extensive experience in rehabbing patients who have undergone Total Joint Replacement. This experience has provided Lisa with the opportunity to present the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations’ (JCAHO) Orthopaedic Performance Improvement Team as well as deliver in-services on Body Mechanics and Total Joint Replacement rehabilitation. Currently, Lisa maintains an active membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina, and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University. Lisa is also a busy mom, spending time with her two children and their sporting activities. She is an avid Washington Capitals fan – GO CAPS!

Erin Duncan, MSPT
Erin graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Wheeling Jesuit University in 1996. She has worked in multiple settings and spent the last 11 years in outpatient orthopaedics. Having a diverse background helps her to have a comprehensive approach to many conditions. She feels active involvement from the client, combined with a manual approach, leads to a successful rehabilitation. Erin enjoys spending time with her family and coaching/playing soccer.

Sandra Osilka, MPT
Sandra “Sandy” graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland in 1996. Since then, Sandy has worked in various settings including post surgical rehab, stroke rehab, nursing home and outpatient orthopaedics. Working in such a variety of settings has taught Sandy how to really listen to her patients’ concerns and symptoms. This has not only helped Sandy be a better therapist, but also enables the client to realize they have a large role in the “getting well” process. The one-on-one therapy offered at Advantage Physical Therapy allows Sandy to perform the manual therapy which she feels is missing in many other therapy clinics today. She looks forward to working with you to achieve your highest level of function and health.

Shelly Hogbin, MSPT
Shelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the College of William and Mary and a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia. When not working at Advantage Physical Therapy, Shelly operates Dominion Massage Therapy, LLC which she founded in 2003 to a fill a need for quality therapeutic massage in the community. She is an active member in the American Physical Therapy Association, the American Massage Therapy Association and the National Athletic Trainers Association. Shelly enjoys spending time with her three young children.

Theresa Crowe, LPTA
Theresa graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Fitness Management from the University of Delaware. She worked as a fitness professional in Florida, Virginia, and overseas. She then decided to become a Physical Therapist Assistant and graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in 2007. Theresa has two amazing children and enjoys traveling and working out.

Nicole Buser, LPTA
Nicole graduated with an Associates of Science from Francois-Xavier Garneau College located in Quebec, Canada. She has over 11 years experience working in hospitals, orthopaedics and outpatient clinics. Nicole prefers the one-on-one time offered here at Advantage Physical Therapy. The one-on-one philosophy permits her to use her manual skills she has acquired over the years. Nicole enjoys traveling and spending time with her family which includes her two dogs; Foxy and Kaylee.

Daniel McEwen, LPTA
Daniel graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in May 2008 with an Associates of Applied Sciences with a major in Physical Therapy. After graduating, Daniel worked at a physical therapy office as their Coordinator of Clinical Education for four years. He has recently joined the Advantage Physical Therapy team because he likes the Advantage philosphy of working one-on-one with the patients. Daniel is a certified Clinical Instructor and is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He also has participated with the Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy seminars. Daniel enjoys boating, motorcycles and working out. |

Bonnie Simpson, LPTA
Bonnie attended Northern Virginia Community College to become a Physical Therapy Assistant and graduated in 2008. She has worked in outpatient orthopaedics since graduation. Bonnie also practices massage therapy at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner and privately in her own practice, McLean Therapeutic Massage. She also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child Development from Virginia Tech and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from George Mason University. She has held teacher certifications in Elementary Education NK-7; Emotional Disturbance and Preschool Handicapped and has taught young children in the public and private sector. Bonnie enjoys blending her skill in manual therapy, as well as her knowledge in human development and education, to provide an individualized approach to each patient. A Virginia girl through and through, Bonnie is originally from Portsmouth and currently resides in Fairfax, VA. She enjoys dance, music, travel, water sports, the beach and shoes! Bonnie is especially fond of humor, spending time with her family and friends as well as her cats and parakeet: Baby, Mish Mish, Lily and Marie. |

Ashley Payne, Clinic Director
Ashley received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Roanoke College in 2007. She has 10 years of experience as an exercise specialist. Ashley is a current class member of Leadership Prince William. She enjoys traveling and has lived in England and Thailand. She enjoys working out at the gym, running and eating spicy food. She completed her first Marathon this year – The Marine Corps Marathon. She is also an avid baker and enjoys bringing treats into the office to share. |

Leslie Crowe, Exercise Specialist
Leslie enjoys sports and has played volleyball from the age of seven. She played for Osbourn Park High School and on the Clash Volleyball Club. She also played Lacrosse at Osbourn Park and at Virginia Wesleyen College. Due to a family illness she left Virginia Wesleyen after a year and a half and she is currently attending Physical Therapy Assistant school at Northern Virginia Community College and will graduate in 2013. She loves the beach and playing sports. While at Virginia Wesleyen she volunteered her time the the training room. In 2007 she underwent an ACL Reconstruction which led to a desire to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Erin Stack, Exercise Specialist
Erin graduated from Virginia Tech in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition Food and Exercise. She is in the process of applying to Physical Therapy school and a Physical Therapy Assistant program. Erin was involved in the sport of gymnastics her entire life and competed in a club atmosphere in college. Other than working here at Advantage Physical Therapy, she also teaches acrobatics classes at a dance studio in Manassas. Erin enjoys reading, warm weather and meeting new people. |

Emily Wisbey, Exercise Intern
Emily graduated from Brentsville H.S. in 2011 and is currently attending Northern Virginia Community College as a full time student, while working here at Advantage Physical Therapy. Emily will transfer to James Madison University for the fall 2012 semester, majoring in Kinesiology, with a minor in Medical Spanish. She intends to go through a graduate program to become a licensed Physical Therapist upon completing her undergraduate degree. Emily has played competitive volleyball both in school and through club teams for the past six years and she also competed in horseback riding for many years. |

Jim Aram, Administrator
Jim possesses over a decade of outpatient orthopaedic & physical therapy clinic healthcare administration experience. In addition to his healthcare administration background, he enjoys the role he plays in Business Development. He is very engaged & values the opportunity to serve in the community. He currenltly serves on the Board of Directors of The Prince William County Chamber of Commerce, Friends of SERVE & Leadership Prince William. He is an active member of the Gainesville Haymarket Rotary Club. Nationally, he maintains an active membership in the American Physical Therapy Association’s Private Practice Section. Jim’s prior experience includes time working with a Human Resources Consulting firm providing selection and professional development solutions to one of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers. Jim received both his Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Business of Administration from the University of Florida – GO GATORS! When he’s not tending to his professional duties, Jim enjoys challenging himself mentally & physically via endurance athletics – in 2011 he ran his first Marathon and competed in several Olympic Distance Triathlons. In addition, Jim enjoys traveling, boating, golfing, skiing and anything he can do outdoors.

Karen Wisbey, Billing & Collections Manager
Karen was born in Ohio and she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Akron. She moved to Northern Virginia twenty two years ago. She practiced nursing for fourteen years in the Adult ICU and Open Heart Recovery. She became a ‘stay at home’ mom for several years taking care of her three daughters, but remained active in the community as a Girl Scout Leader and Organizer for seven years, PTA secretary for Cedar Point Elementary School for several years and a substitute teacher for the Prince William County Schools for four years. She decided to return to the workforce part-time in 2007 and joined our staff as the front desk receptionist. She has increased her job duties over the years and recently became a full-time employee and is currently our office Billing & Collections Manager.

Carrie Sinskie, Office Coordinator
Carrie is a Texas native. She married a United States Air Force man from Maine in 1982. She has lived in Italy, Korea, Japan, Colorado, New Mexico & Virginia. Carrie was a ‘stay at home’ mom who home schooled her two children for twelve years. Carrie entered the workforce in June 2006 working at Sun Trust Bank as a Teller, Vault Teller & Teller Supervisor. In June 2009, Carrie made a career move to Advantage Physical Therapy where she serves as the Office Coordinator. Carrie enjoys hiking, gardening, shopping and spending time with her two young granddaughters. Her favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys. |

Anne Staudt, Office Coordinator
Anne joined the Advantage Physical Therapy team in early 2011 as the evening Office Coordinator. She was raised near New York city, the only girl among five brothers. She loves Virginia and now considers it home, having lived here for 24 years and having lots of family nearby. She raised two boys, staying home when they were young, and working part time when they were in school. The youngest graduated college last year and both are successfully “launched”. She brings diverse experience to the job, having held administrative positions in an insurance office, a church and a conference center. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at church and in the community, traveling, crafting, decorating and cooking. |

Karen Hoglund, Patient Representative
Karen was born in the Caribbean, moved to Florida in 1994, and currently resides in Northern Virginia. She is married with three children. Karen worked in Retail Management for four years, until a car accident left her in physical therapy for a year forcing her to change her career path. She joined our Advantage Physical Therapy team in June 2010 and is currently the office Patient Representative. Karen is also a professional photographer and enjoys music, movies, motorcycles, dancing, running and spending time with family and friends.
